| So long....so long. But the blood still smelled fresh, the death felt so close. The portals had finally stopped opening and beckoning, and the call of Kharnath had not reached my ears for some time. How much time, is beyond me.....I've lived long enough to stop caring about time. Blessed by the Ancients....cursed by Chaos. Only for the blessings to become a curse, and the curse to become the blessing.....the runes still shimmered from time to time, begging for war, for blood, for violence...those were the times that the great Dragon, known only as Drake now, would return to his wandering. He had left his family behind, his friends...the few things that he had truly loved. It was because of that love that he left.
And yet, now.....as he crested the rise, greeted by the sunset, he saw before him a land that reminded him of his little sister....of the fierce Celt...of the warriors he'd left behind in Alterra and Midgar, so long ago and so far away, to wander so they might live. And yet.....this place was not old, but new, as if from another time, another place. And so he wandered with a purpose, to find a new life amongst humanity. And in time, he came to know what the people called their land: Soluna. And once more, he came to know those he had left behind, to his great surprise and delight. Atlantia, the little sister he'd left behind, and Niall, the Celt he'd seen as a brother. They had new allies now, Garth, and Zarius, and more.
And so....the wanderer, Drake, took up the mantle of the Dragonwalker once more, reforging his blades, and hefting his armor and weapons again. This time, not for Chaos, blood, and war....but for his kin, his bloodline, and Soluna. | |

| Done. I haven't seen the Adamant Bar, but I imagine the zanbato might rival it in massiveness. | |

| My current debate in planning my zanbato is have it more historically based, and have 4 ft blade and 4 ft handle, or go more fantasy and just make giant sword. | |

| When the Adamant Bar was first forged it was a Golems blade of twelve feet. The Golem was destroyed in an assault on the Daenland outpost it was stationed at. Keylik found it and returned it, but broke it during the outposts reclamation. It was then reduced to ten feet, seven of it being blade and three being handle. It broke once more when he sundered Ax'a'el, and was reduced to seven feet. Five of it blade, two of it handle. It stayed that way ever since... until... until Keylik faded. | |
